Okay, so i've never grown before, i've read numerous grow guides, and such, i'm going to try to grow my own, but my problem is i'm going to boarding school in two days so maybe i'll take it with me if it's just going to be in a cup otherwise i donno what i'll do. I've got about 5 seeds, and right now theyre in a bag in a wet paper towel in my closet. (is this the best way to start them? ) Would co2 effect this? (should i open the bag, and put it next to yeast+sugar to get the co2 flowing to it? ) I'm thinking of what i'll grow it in first, i have potting soil, and plenty of dirt from outside, (which is best to use for a small plastic cup?) And the lighting.. Does it matter if its flourecent or not?) it's 60 watt. Would these grow outside for a week or two until i come back during thanksgiving vacation, or should i take them with me? will it begin to smell ? I have fans and such at school..

well your germination sounds right...i would just leave them in the bags in the closet..nevermind the co2...and i would also wait untill i got to school to do anything else with them.....what kind of light are you using...60 watts probably wont do much unless its a small hps and you'll need a small room to get maximum light out of it...a mix of dirt and perlite is fine for begining veg but you might want to switch to some kind of nuted soil into flowering...you will also need
nutes for veg
nutes for flowering
ph tester
how about ventilation..
will it be closet,cab,room,etc...?
i myself could have yielded some bud from floros but i only had 2 plants under 320watts...so you have to realy figure some stuff out..

This is just my but it's not a good idea to grow at school. I'm not sure you understand how much a flowering plant stinks. I walk into my house & the whole place smells like MJ. And that's just during veg....also, if you get caught, you'll lose an awful lot. It's just not a good idea, and I'm sure most people would agree with me.

Im going to have to agree with scotso420 on this, you shuld NOT grow while at school, or attempt to transport your grow to/from school at all. That is just asking to get caught, and depending on where you live this could mean that you loose any federal funding your getting for school if convicted etc. Its a situation that you do not want to be in.

I agree, do NOT grow at school. Too Risky... pot is good, but maybe you need to re-think it.

If you're in the northern hemisphere the nights are too long to veg outside now. They won't make it two weeks without water. Maybe your parents could take care of them while you're at school?

ill chime in with everyone else.. taking them to school is a bad idea
if you get caught you will not only get kicked out but lose any chance at financial aid for going to college or any other type of school

stupid risk if ya ask me ... it's only weed... but if it's more important than your future....
