i was wondering how tall a plant (seed: mazar,F1-cross with Skunk #1,100% Indica) can grow under these conditions: one plant per square foot, 2 gallon square containers, with 50 watts per square foot from a 630 hps son agro, plenty of ventilation and outdoor amounts of co2 (co2: not enough to increase yieald)? The question being how tall will these plants grow in a 8 to 9 week harvest time and what kind of a yield of dry bud would i get from a 8 to 9 week harvest from each plant?
thanks for the feedback

Allow for your plants to triple in size when you switch to 12/12. Shouldnt have any height problems if you follow that rule of thumb.
Hmmmm, an untrained plant under a 630(?). Prolly 2 OZs, if you dont make major mistakes

thanks smokin and s2, i see what u r saying, but can i realistically under the conditions provided and added co2 with mazar(indica) seeds (F1-cross with Skunk #1) expect to grow .35g per watt PER MONTH(.35g/watt/month), (which translates to about 7 oz per month i believe)? keep in mind that this is my first grow but i plan on being extremely educated on the subject before i start growing, so a few more weeks of research and then ill also have enough cash to purchase the materials needed.
also is it the indica variety that provides the cerebral and hallucinagenic high?
thanks

No... you're definately after a sativa

Indica is the kind that you smoke after a long day at the office, when you want to have your as$ become one with the couch for a few hours. Indica is very lethargic and causes the munchies. Definately not cerebral and hallucinagenic. Not that there is anything wrong with growing indica, its just a different high if you typically smoke sativas.

Look into getting a cross of indica and sativa. I have a 70:30 cross that grows like indica, but gets you high like a sativa.

Peace,

Genetics can make a big difference, some of my plants have pulled 4-6 ounces under a 600 (not son-t) in less than ideal conditions but that is only growing 4 plants at a time so they had room to move.
Another strain did only get 1.5-2oz under the same conditions though.

Phantom, I'm impressed with your results! What size bags are you using? What strains? I have grown many diff indica and sativa hybrids but never reached close to 4-6 oz in a plant. Do you veg with the HPS also? (I'm guessing that with 4 plants under a 600w your producing at least 60w/ft2??) How long do you veg? 12/12? Some correspondance would be nice, bra :~)
Kahka (hell of a name man) if you're thinking about producing a certain amount of herb per month you should begin researching cloning. Seedlings take a few months to mature and 6-8 weeks to flower where clones can complete an entire veg-flower cycle in
half the time.(also you have to deal with the male plant thing with seedlings.)
