ok i have an areoponics system 6 plants will be growning blah blah good for me what do you expect out of 6 plants and how many plants should i grow to expect a 5 pound yeild? and theres not if and or buts about it but im going ot use the 6 plants in aeroponics but should i use regular soil for like the rest or should i use hydro or what im not trying to get super expensive here

i am working with 60,000 lumens how much could i put under there and for my 5 p yeild how much more lumens and plants do i need please help and if i want my plants to yield more should i raise the light higher ?

Early

You'd want the light as close as it can be without burning the plants. Then you would get more yield.

thanks but still need to know how mnay lumens i would need for about 20 plants or how many plants do i need for a 5 pound harvest and a 10 pound harvest give yoru best answers please

Say,
Hmmm...20 plants...each plant has to yield 4 ounces each. I think you would need at least 2 sq ft/plant to get 4 oz each....that's 40 sq/ft. Then ya need 2000 watts spread over that area....5ea. 400 watters.
Now you figure it out yerself, cuz 5 different folks will give ya 5 different ideas.
Ya need 50 wts/sq/ft or 7000 lumens/sq/ft. Ya need the experience to grow plants that will yield 4 oz per.
How many grows do you have under yer belt?

im quite a noob at this it will be my first but im quite a smart person working on this i have new age light bolbs just as good as hpcs lights they are called t5 new waves best around cheap and energy hardly noticed im going to pick up another 600 watter at the store that will be 1500 watts in the room and im going to pick up another 2 150 watters so ill have 1900 watts 6 areponic plants growing should be nice and then im going to have 14 soil based plants this shoudl be fun for my FIRST grow do i sound ready with that many watts ?

Hell yah....now all ya have to do is grow grow grow and learn as ya go. Each grow you will learn how to increase yer yield. Yer going to have yer hands full with 6 aeros and 14 soils. Perty big bite fer a newb.
Aero-ya need PH and TDS meters. Need to check yer water for TDS (hardness). Gotta adjust PH daily. Nutrient temps have to be around 68 degrees. Gotta learn how much nutrient to use......
Soil-Gotta select a soil that's around 6.5 PH. must be amended for proper drainage.....
Not trying to scare ya. just saying yer going to be busier solving problems than a pup with two peckers! It's best to lower yer sites at first 'till ya learn what yer doin'.
What size room are ya growin' in?

full size guarage closed off factory instalation no smell to get outside sealed ac vents installed to the suckeri got humidity testers ph testers the whole nine yards and i got someone whos been grownin for al ong time to coach me ill try my best this tiem ill never post pictures of my yield nor anything else to many people get snapped that way but ill report nicely
