Mary Jane First indoor grow, have questions

Hey, just want to say great site!

I have two 1000w HPS and a 400w MH. I am going to be starting will clones, and my first question is what are peoples opinions on no vegg growing from clones (obviously after they are rooted). Also, I am interested in attempting LST and am wondering if it would be a bad idea to try with no vegg?

Next, I have heard of several different nutrients being suggested from my buddies. What are peoples think of the Advanced line? Then I had some suggestions of using Super Veg A & B, has anyone tried these, what do they think of these products?

Also to go with nutrients, I am interested in watering/feeding cycles. I have some buddies that only water twice a week, and others that feed as many as five days a week. Is it better to feed more in lower concentrations, or once a week with higher concentration? Also since my room is in my basement should I be worried about the temperature of my water that I am giving my plants?

Final question is about air filtration, will an ionizer do the trick (probably will need more than one) or do I need to get a charcoal filter to control the smell?

Hey thanks for your opinions and help, there is so much information here. Again love the site, good luck to everyone!

My opinion is I wouldn´t do it. Your final yield will be much smaller.

Basically LST is done while in veg., if you are not going to veg the plants, then you will have very small plants that will not need any LST.

I´m using AN 2+ program and I think it is Ok. I prefer other nutrients like EarthJuice or Foxfarms.

Plants can only be watered when they are completly dry. If your medium dries out and your plant wilts then it is time for another watering. Depending on how fast your medium dries out, you need to adjust you concentrations. If you have a big pot with a small plant then you will only need to water once a week. Once your plant starts growing and can drink all the water in just a day or two, then you water accordingly. The concentration of nutes that you give them will depend on the response the plants give you after each watering.

It is a bit hard to explain, you are gonna have to learn to read the signs that the plants give you.

No veg clone flowering is called sog or sea of green, it is my favoured method of growing....check out some of my journals........never affected my yield...

As a test I flowered a 2 node seedling and it grew to the same height as other flowered plants (2-3" a day in the first few weeks), but nearly zero secondary growth. Decent main cola though... Might be ok if you're doing a SOG (sea of green).
