Product/Service:Gen. Hydro's General Organic Nutrient Line Purchased From:General Hydroponics....Any major hydroponic shop. Purchase Price:120-130$ Length of Ownership: Only 2-3 months --------------------------------------------------------------- Pros: Small doses, organic, fast acting, no ph adjustments, IT WORKS Cons: Can only store mixed solution up to a day. Expensive for organics. The bio weed is as annoying as molasses to measure and get into the water. Other Thoughts: This is about the first complete fast acting organic nutrients line Ive seen or used. Its just so much easier than working with dry materials. Everything is bottled up for you, ready to go. I mix and water...Simple as that. GH recomends not keeping mixed solution longer than 24 hours. Aerate when not in use. Also, ph adjustments are not needed. This stuff calls for very low doses. We are talking 2.5ml bio bud/ 10ml bio bloom/ 5ml CaMg. And I even use that at half strength. So it is pricey for organics, but it doesnt have the regular 2 tablespoon per gallon as others do. Very small amounts go very far. Rating: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Im only giving 4 stars for now because I havent tested the smoke yet. But as for growing plants, This stuff makes them happy. Link to general organic products Some pics for proof you say? Thats a month of growth. Thanks to my new favorite nutrient line. Last edited by illegal-clone; 11-06-2009 at 01:02 PM.. Reason: cuz

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Nope, not yet. I plan to try it out my next round of clones though. It doesnt say anything on the bottle about using it or not. I know I splashed plenty of leaves without doing any damage, so Im sure it could. Im trying them out on an IRB right now. the plant however doesnt recieve much light, so its hard to say how it would work out. My plant is green, but like I said, its hardly growing. Stuck in the shade. Dont adjust ph either, and not a single ph problem. Heres a pic of it compared to a plant that does recieve light. Its a soil plant though of course. I keep that black bag around to block the light out. Microbes and light dont mix. If you thought my plants were growing in perlite, they arent. I should have mentioned something about that. lol I just use it so that the soil will dry out evenly. It works great. Also, the top layer of dirt is full of roots. Unlike a few inches below the dirt. I even did a 1/4 strength feed tonight as my plants show the slightest burn. So maybe 1/2 strength every watering is too much? lol

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() I had called them before, when they were doing samples, and Jesse I think his name was told me, not good for IRB. Said the water will get stinky when all the organic stuff dies. Man, gonna call em and see if they still send me some. Thanks for the info! your IRB's look great.

Those big plants are not IRB. They are organic soil plants. I only have one small IRB wich is stuffed in the shade. It is healthy however. Every 2 days, I dump out the remaining water, and refill. No nasty problems yet.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | They charge $22 for shipping - that just went through on my card today - they should be here soon. I plan to use them on my moms in soil. It makes sense that IRBs would stink.

![]() I got fooled by that middle pic, lots of buckets, small plants, nothin' but perlite showing. I thought that was IRB! Still gonna call 'em, though, maybe they can send a sample of regular GH 2-part or something. Or maybe floranova. Or something, dammit! I want some almost-freebies too! ![]()
