| hey a friend of mine just went to a hydro shop to get some stuff together for cloning. i told him to look for antitranspirants becuase of an article in high times about cloning with them and their supposed to work extremely well with no humidity dome. so the guy at the hydro shop said that all these do is mess up photosynthesis or something because the plant cant grow with all this shit on its leaves. ive never cloned before, and i will be pretty soon so i wanted to get this straight, cause i was planning on using an AT spray of some kind. the space ill be cloning in is just a little less than 2 X 2 feet, and the plants that the cuttings were taken from will be in the same space. (veg & clone box) so i cant fit in a humidity dome. anyways does anyone have any experience with AT sprays? thanks | ||

![]() | Heres a clip from my journal that sums it up... "Cloning: I've got about 60 clones going in the veg room and I moved 6 of the best back into the flower room to flower with the big plants. All 6 are skunk and one is the top of the skunk that got broken off(even that big hollow stem rooted quickly). Just as a note... There really is no need to go overboard on cloning expenses. I've used to use rootenone for all sorts of stuff and I'm using Schultzes "take root" now. $5 for a big container from Walmart. Quick 100% rooting results and it beats $25-28 for a similar size container of clonex or olivia's from the hydro shop. A tray I had, hormone, a sheet of 96 1.5" RW cubes, some RO water and 100% success." Cloning is very simple and even a humidity dome is unecessary IMO let alone overpriced fad chemicals and cloning systems.
