i am on my first grow and someone told me you can only clone a mj plant before you put it into flower. i apologize if this is viewed as a noob question but i am at a stage with my first grow that if there is any truth behind this i have some decisions to make

you can clone a flowering mj, its best to do before any real buds form, because changing the plant again to vegetative state (18-24 hours sun) can take up to a month.

you can also , just harvest about 2 thirds of the plant, then leaving some of the larger leaves and some of the smaller buds, put the plant back in 24, wait a month, voila , you got a plant you can clone of and put again into flowering.

ILLEGAL-SEED

a clone will root and grow much faster in the vegative state than flowering. ive had flowering clones stay green for 3 weeks till they rooted. its best to do it during veg.
