![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Of course, having turned the plugs upside down, the clones don't get much light but I guess I'll see the roots easier....Joking!!!!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Update: Well, here she is in all her glory guys. 12 days since we took this top and already has roots and ready to go in the veg room to become a mom. She'll be getting Grow big nutes for the next three weeks, until she is ready for cloning, then she'll follow the monthly fert schedule.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Update...Clones taken on Feb. 16. No signs of roots yet but I'm not stressing. RH is in the 90s. Clones look great. Very green and not wilted. I suspect the cooler temperatures -low 70s- may slow things up (although the bottom of the trays are undoubtedly warmer due to the pad). As Jerry Lee Lewis said, I'm hanging in like Gunga Din.

I love it! I love it! I love It!!!! I was looking for a good thread on how to do cloning and after that little explanation I feel like an expert. I think I learned more in one page than I did all last semester at college, LOL. We are thinking about putting those rose buckets to good use with some clones and also fill any whole left by males. Now after reading the Picture Show, we can definitely do it. Thanks Lou TC

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | mayan, for me too buddy. Its been unusually cold down here too, and my last batch took 10 days to root, 3 days longer then it takes them, when hot. I'm constructing a shelf over my lights now to try and keep them a bit warmer though. ![]() TC, Thanks a lot man, glad you found something useful in here. Cloning is a very important aspect of growing and something you should been practicing, cause you'll need to do it soon if you wish to pre-sex your plants or even to keep a strain going.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Lou Cypher, that's good to know. I'm resting confident in knowing that I will be seeing tendrils shortly. I'm primarily encouraged by the apparent vitality of the clones.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ssoooo green! Thanks for the tutes, certainly helped me understand a few things. Finally have mothers, having repotted them into 13 inch square pots with hempy reservoirs. [took out plastic thing they had in base and substituted rocks and gravel] just waiting for them to get a bit bushier before i clone off them. no rush as have a batch of seedlings starting flower, and getting clones off some plants we are growing outdoors. Want to open up the understorey a bit as i have tied them 'espalier' to weld mesh, and they are dense. My friend and i decided to make a tub of clones of the 2 best strains in the grow, before they go into flower. [learnt my lesson lol] Was a lot of difference between strains revegging, some cooperated, some gave up and one i thought would never stop flowering. It is elongating now, but still has tufts of white hairs over it.lol Plants i just took to flower, revegged easier than the ones who went to harvest. Thanks again for here and your input round the garden, your sense of humour and fairplay. Send you a postcard in the near future. best wishes nigel

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Its all happening Lou, building new grow spaces, sprouting seeds, revegging mothers, and now another attempt at cloning. Took the cuttings off an outdoor plant, just showing sex. Took them off the understorey while trimming and thinning a few fingers on large shade leaves. Straight into jar of water, sealed in plastic bag for drive home. Got ready and then used every bit i could. lol pic 1 - mother pic 2 - bagged pic 3 getting ready pic 4 opened pic 5 - just before lock down.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Got a few strains going, a few nute issues but mites on back foot with frequent washing and lowering temp by using the sun thru window on 2 sides, [morn and aft] backed up with flouros, mirrors and white furniture. these are currently hiding behind a pile of furniture on the end of my verandah. They have been potted up to 13 inch square hempies, using gravel, sand, soils, composts and bits. going to let them bush up a bit before i tax. i will get there eventually. best wishes nigel
