I don't wanna say how much over my limit I am but, i'll mention a few ![]() Thanks man for creating this adventurer in me to break the rules that apply in situation.. ![]() You have a wonderful day my friend and keep a bed free for me at Japhy's when you get there .. don

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I put 9 clones into 4" pots filled with coco last night. This time I will try to follow directions better and will let you know in a week or so how I did. They were placed in a dome that would hold 24 pots. No cups of water were needed for humidity to reach above 90%...or as my humidity gauge says HI. There are no droplets formed on the tub...so I am assuming humidity is not at 100%...so it is somewhere between 90 and 100. The room is about 82 F. If this works no transplanting until the plants are ready to go into the flower room. As soon as they can stand the lid being off for 3 hours and/or I start to see new growth they start getting more light and nutes...at this point RO water only (and thank you for explaining to me how the plant cannot possibly take nutes from the soil until it does get roots and that trying to feed it anything, including just P like many recommend, does nothing but contribute to salt buildup and pH issues Lou...that was a serious DOH moment for my dumb ass). I even wet the coco then squeezed it out just like you suggested with soil Lou. I am already planning on building a smallish, heavily insulated closet with a single cfl in the ceiling. From there the pots will go straight to the mother/veg room into an ebb and flow setup under T5s. Your method is so good it actually changed the way I look at my whole setup. Anyways...that is enough rambling. Thank you again Lou...and everyone else that confirmed what Lou was saying since that got me to finally try the method.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hey Lou, Thanks for your wonderfull contribution. I currently have some AK 47 in flower, one of my plants went through some heavy nute lockout due to PH issues, This plant in particular has the best genetics (outside of smoke and THC content) so im a little anxious to get a mother plant and clones going of her. PH is recovering and bud growth as of today is resuming, she is in flower 5 weeks, How much longer should i wait before taking clones off her? I know a healthy plant leads to healthy clones. Thanks

That sounds good, one less transplant, less stress the plant has to deal with. Agree, if they can stand with out wilting for three hrs they are ready to come out from the dome. Keep us posted on the results, curious to see the timing with the coco pots.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Lorduss, if you have a healthy clone now on the plant, take the cutting. The longest you go in to flowering the less chances of getting it to root, and if it does will take a very long time.

If you get to root your clones in a week no need for misting the leaves or the dome. On the second week usually they wilt cause they need water in the plugs, in the media, not on the leaves, so water the roots not the leaves at that point.
