Blake's Marriage of Heaven & Hell

Here's a portion...One of the most important pieces of literature I have stumbled across (and his illustrations are AMAZING) - And I'm sure there are some lessons about meta-cloning to be found herein:

He who desires but acts not, breeds pestilence.
The cut worm forgives the plow.
Dip him in the river who loves water.
A fool sees not the same tree that a wise man sees.
He whose face gives no light, shall never become a star.
Eternity is in love with the productions of time.
The busy bee has no time for sorrow.
The hours of folly are measur'd by the clock, but of wisdom: no clock can measure.
All wholsom food is caught without a net or a trap.
Bring out number weight & measure in a year of dearth.
No bird soars too high, if he soars with his own wings.
A dead body revenges not injuries.
The most sublime act is to set another before you.

The fox condemns the trap, not himself.
Joys impregnate. Sorrows bring forth.
Let man wear the fell of the lion. woman the fleece of the sheep.
The bird a nest, the spider a web, man friendship.
The selfish smiling fool, & the sullen frowning fool shall be both thought wise, that they may be a rod.
What is now proved was once only imagin'd.
The rat, the mouse, the fox, the rabbet; watch the roots; the lion, the tyger, the horse, the elephant, watch the fruits.
The cistern contains: the fountain overflows.
One thought fills immensity.
Always be ready to speak your mind, and a base man will avoid you.
Every thing possible to be believ'd is an image of truth.
The eagle never lost so much time, as when he submitted to learn of the crow.

The fox provides for himself. but God provides for the lion.
Think in the morning. Act in the noon. Eat in the evening. Sleep in the night.
He who has suffer'd you to impose on him knows you.
As the plow follows words, so God rewards prayers.
The tygers of wrath are wiser than the horses of instruction.
Expect poison from the standing water.
You never know what is enough unless you know what is more than enough.
Listen to the fools reproach! it is a kingly title!

The head Sublime, the heart Pathos, the genitals Beauty, the hands & feet Proportion.

The crow wish'd every thing was black, the owl, that every thing was white.
Exuberance is Beauty.
If the lion was advised by the fox. he would be cunning.
Improvement makes strait roads, but the crooked roads without Improvement, are roads of Genius.
Sooner murder an infant in its cradle than nurse unacted desires.
Where man is not, nature is barren.
Truth can never be told so as to be understood, and not be believ'd.

No apologies needed for the off topic talk, its our thread we can do what we want.

That was one good interesting read mayan, deep, deep enough having me go back and read it a few times to put it together.
Bookmarked the link for later in depth reading.

Kind happy that I read it sober while drinking my first cup of coffee though, cause I just finished taking 5 hits of an AK 48 joint and I'm tripping with a big smile on my face.

IDK if my tolerance its getting lower or my growing better, but this strain is freaking awesome.

Excellent!! A happy Lou Cypher is a productive Lou Cypher. BTW, Blake is great while stoned...check out his illustrations. For those that don't know, Blake was the one who coined the phrase "doors of perception." One of his most famous verses is...

For the record I don't see any difference in cutting some of the leafs in half v not either. Doesn't seem to hurt them, doesn't seem to speed anything up either. Only thing is my plants are going to get some abuse along the line somewhere...they might as well get use to it early

Speaking of abuse I cut the humidity in the room down to 50% to see what the clones in coco would do...did not seem to effect them. So then to further abuse them I stuck them directly under an 8 bulb T5...they did not like that, started to wilt so I moved them back into indirect light and they straightened back up in about an hour.

Guess the next thing on my list of things to learn is to keep mothers in dirt...for some reason that scares me, seems like a bunch of black art is involved in growing in soil. On the other hand it does not make sense to me to stick mothers in some sort of hydro where everyday feeding/maintenance is involved.

Funny Story/ Good News

So today is seven days for clone batch#1.

I wake up this morning pop open the chamber and look at all the plugs... no roots visible yet...

Here is where I made the mistake. I knew the gentle tug thing sounded like a bad idea, and it was... I gently tugged the smallest clone that had yellowed the most, it did resist a little, but it was early and I just hit the bong... well I stopped pulling when I saw roots... AAAAHHH I said!!!

Then I realized I have mother F***ing roots!!!

So I can now breathe a sigh of relief.. This clone might not make it, but I AM cloning now...

Now begins the construction of the flower cab...

I'll get some pics for you guys when roots show on the outside of plugs...

Sam, I think these coco's will make it just fine this time.
Wilting and then perking up again, is definitely a good sign.
They're still on the first watering, right?

Keeping and maintaining a productive donor plant its easier than cloning, have no fear.
Good soil and the correct feeding schedule is a must.

hunter, what you were expecting to see, legs?

How many times I have said this: First we do our chores and then we hit the bong.

Better hurry on that cab, if they have roots already they'll need a house very soon.

We chop our top, which leaves 2 growing points.

When these regrow, one is often bigger than the other. Is this due to one being slightly lower on stem, or genetic?

I think it is stem position, because both those tips should be true copies of mothers. thanks nigel
