![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hey everyone... So I could not get my hands on any cloning powder/gel/hormone, but I spotted a small amount of mold on a branch and had to cut it down. I cut the bud off leaving a few leaves and no mold. I also cut the branch I originally wanted to clone. A few days ago I had already cut the bud off of this, and left the branch to heal on the plant. No mold was on this branch. I brought both back to the house to finish cleaning up. Scraped both stems and cut lower nodes off. Stuck them into the holes I put in moist soil, then sealed them in the tupperware I had set aside. It was not quite as large as I hoped to have, but it was all I had. It is a fairly small container and I actually had to stand it on end to fit the cup and clones inside. My new questions are... How long should I keep these sealed inside before I open it for fresh air?? (Should it still be sealed for first 48 hours, with a container this small) Also from that point on, how often should I open it? Do I mist it when needed?? Or do I not mist at all?? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | aep, I would open that container every day and let fresh air in, otherwise you might see mold before you see roots. It wont take long after you opened it to build RH again. How is the humidity in the room that you keep the cont? If the soil is nice and dump I wouldn't mist it for the first week, but since it will most definitely take more time than that to root, it will need some water in the soil not on the leaves, let the green survive off the RH. I love the purples on those nugs, man. wow Always wanted a plant to look that way. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | As long as you container is dripping wet when you open it, yes. Wipe it and cover them again after few Min's. Increase the time they're getting fresh air each time and look for wilting. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Cool, thank for you help Lou. I Just opened the container for today and everything looks fine. Big water droplets were all around the container and on the lid. Again the leaves were completely dry. The soil was still moist. I feel confident now that I could easily clone anything from a vegging plant. I wish I saw this thread months ago when My buddy had plants going. Thanks again for your help Lou. Ill keep posting updates until they root or die.

the reliablity and simplicity of this method is astounding. even though my bubble cloner puts out roots, i still seem to always fall back on this method, even if i must wash off the soil to put into IRBs after rooting. anyone that has a question about cloning, visit page ONE and give'r a read. then throw a rep and a thanks under LOU's name when your new girls have feet. -iDub

You can clone flowering plants, just takes much longer for them to get in to re veg mode and start growing roots. Quote:
