![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I know this isnt quite cloning related... just the oposite actually, but check out what I just found from my bud!!! Just in case the clones die I guess, always good to have a backup plan. Just amazing that the plant got pollenated somehow. It was the only seed visable and ive checked them all pretty well. Hopefully it was caused by stress or something and will be feminized... ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hey Lou, I'm using a Hydrofarm cloning dome. Its has been over a week now and I haven't seen any roots. My question is since the humidity is high, my soil is not drying out. Its still moist. Will this slow down rooting? I see new growth on them(I think), they all are standing up. The roots aren't "searching for water". I did wet the soil when I planted them but, shouldn't I've have?

You can open the dome for a bit, at least until they wilt a bit so you can let some fresh air in to evaporate some of the water in the soil if you feel is too wet. As long as you don't see any leaves getting moldy and brown, your RH is correct. Usually IMO a little wilting makes them search for moisture from bellow, they'll perk up as soon as you close the dome again. Is that the 7" dome you're using? ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | If there is still water in the pots the root structure is not big enough yet to consume all the water that is in the pot right now. No I wouldn't water them upon transplant, I would let the dry soil absorb some of that water. Keep an eye on them, as soon as you see them wilting they will need to be fed. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Good morning to all, Looking good there nigel - Happy Saturday my friend ... I remember once a bunch of years ago when I owned a Chevy S10 pickup truck upon entering it one sunny morning to go somewhere I noticed while warming it up a little green substance seeming to be growing under a floormat on the passenger side. So I leaned over for a better look and found a very tiny pot plant that must've fallen from a bag (??) and landed under the rubber mat in a miniscule amount of sand and/or dirt much like desert conditions in that there was zero water and very limited diret sunlight. Yet, here it was, growing happily in prob the worst enviroment that it could have been in, compared to what I would've given it if i'd have intentionally grown it. They are a "weed" pulled reqularly as a "Weed" in some far away countries. They are strong willed, tolerable of many things and extremely resilient. I sometimes wonder "Why" I put so much effort into growing it when it IS just a weed.. But, I guess the saying that goes: "You get out of it what you put into it" comes to mind so I suppose i'll still be putting the "Best" into my grows and recieving back the "Best" they'll Bless me with. But in the end they are still just weeds.... Have a Great Saturday and enjoy ![]() don, yes its still me mods changed my name from "420" to my "name".. I like it better. Peace
