One of my clones had the growth node destroyed days after rooting. It had been in soil for 3-4 days and showed no sign of shock...untill the light bulb torched it. The roots seem to e ok and the leaves are still green. Will it grow another node or is it a goner?

Good morning,

I'd personally set it to the side and watch it, you'd be surprised what a plant that is so resilient can do with near nothing.. I'd set to the side and wait giving it all the time it needs to branch and continue growing.
Only, unless the top was completely gone would I give up on any start as i've seen MJ do some pretty strange things both good and bad..
If you've got other plants that are growing take care of them but, let this one sit on the sidelines and recoupe - if "he" dies, no loss but, if you kill her off you'll never know if she would've survived or not..
In my experiences its always been the runt that has produced the best - you've got nothing to lose but a lil investment of your time...

Have a Great day and Good luck

I've had a few clones without growth tips that I let grow, just more and more roots, no new leaves.

You could graft a top from another plant onto it.
