![]() ![]() | Hey King Fern A rooted clone can be flowered immediatly. This is the basics behind SOG, Four clones per sqf and flower as soon as their rooted and the clones wont grow over each other and youll still get a nice fully mature (tho very small) plant at the end. Maturity is not a worry since the clone is the same genetic age as the mother Smokin

It would seem to me that the key factor in when to put the clone into flower is the size of the clone. If your clone is only 4" when rooted, then you might want to let it grow til it is 8" or taller to put into flower. Then you have more bud sites and the end result will be more bud. My first grow, outside, didn't really grow any taller once she started to flower. Definitely didn't grow anymore after a few weeks into flower, just fatter. ![]() Rapunzel

I had a clone that was 5 inches tall and ended up being 40 inches at finish, all under 12/12. I guess it all depends on the strain.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ST, that is a bit of a stretch but I am not saying it can't happen. That was def the strain in your case. Once the cuttings is rooted it is a new plant and will react accordingly to how the did. I generally allow my clones get to about 10-12" in hydro system then start the flowering them. But it also depends on your room height as to how big you wan them to getLB

It didn't produce a lot of bud. I actually forgot i had it. It was in the back of my grow room and I was cleaning up after a harvest and noticed it. I left my light at the top of my room which is about 6ft high, and what else to say, it grew to the light. It was a budsicle though, now when i take clones i make sure to veg them awhile before flowering them.
