I remember seeing a basic pic presentation on cloning on the HT site. It was in one of the "pot shots" collections, and goes on to explain a bit about SOG, too. I used this method on one of my babies, & so far, so good!

Hope that helps!

There is a pretty good section in this book that shows pictures of cloning. Keep in mind that there are different ways of cloning. It seems to me that the method used in these examples is more radical (get it? Radix in Greek means root) Anyway, they seem to cut on the plant a lot more than is absolutely necessary, ie., trimming the leaves, and shaving the stem. Hope this helps.

Roots...

You can cut anywhere you want as long as you keep a few growing tips, and your plant is healthy...
I tryed simple toppings, cuting the steam, just a few branches...
Try not to worry to much about that, you will get the felling along the way.

About cloning...
Don't let anyone convince you that the best one is a hard one; the best one for your setup may not be exactly as the best way for mine.
I have very good results with soil and a rooting hormone, nothing else is needed...! the simpler you act,the simpler to find out what is wroung...
Your clones should have at least 1 internode, personaly i like 3 nodes...
