![]() | Just took 2 clones each from my two biggest plants. My question is, is bad wilting normal? They're obviously shocky from being yanked from their moms, but it seems as only the grow tips are cool. I dipped `em in rooting hormone, as well as a dilute solution of Schultz's Starter Plus. (1/2 capful per gallon of water) I only did it 2 days ago...is it too soon to really see any marked improvement in their condition? They're getting 24hrs of light too. Good soil, good drainage. From the guy I got their seeds from, it's a strain worth hanging on to, too. Stay Green! ![]() E.C.

![]() | E.cola... I don't know EXACTLY how you prepared your clones, but wilting sometimes happens in the first days. Around here, that happens with 50% of my clones but they will come up in 3 to 5 days, and when this happens, i know they usually root... Your main concern is to get good clones, don't go for the small, week branches; from seedings i like 6/7 weeks (this allows you to have your clones rooted when mum is mature) ![]() Get clones with AT LEAST 3/4 nodes and clean the lower 2 nodes, dip them in the rooting hormone and MAKE SHURE to have at least 1 node with rooting hormone below the surface (my experience tells me most start rooting there!) Do not watter everytime (i try to hold on the watter as long as i can), stay away from ferts (your rooting hormone should have them already) and let them be. wolfman

Just stick that bad boy in there and wait for root ![]() I tried about 5-6 different ways so far and this was by far the easiest hands-down, no competition .... for me anyway ![]() LB

I've always done this even when just sticking them in regular dirt without any rooting hormone. My results were a lot better than many of the horror stories I heard on discusion boards. I usually make a slanted cut and then strip 1 or 2 nodes depending on how much branch I have to work with. I then cake them with rooting powder and stick them in slightly moist soil. -PMX

![]() | Just recently took some some clones off of some other clones that I was given...Although the parents were a bit young and the tempature was real hot...35-39 degrees celcius (I don't know what that is in farans...about a hundred i think). Time was a trade off at this point as i want these clones to grow under another light and be ready to bloom when the parents are harvested and i preferred to take the clones while the plants where still vegetative rather than wait for branches to increase in length whilst changing to flower... Some cuttings were fine after the op, some wilted and 2 wilted really badly. 3 days later all cuttings had perked up and where reaching for the light. This was done in rockwool with a gel rooting hormone and seems to have had 100% success. Phantom Ghost Who Smokes
