![]() | I have this stupid problem. I grow under fluoros. My clones start flowering even though I keep them at 24/7 light. Some of them grew a bit, then just started pushing out those 3-blade leaves & pistils. The strain I think is NL #9. I don't think it's one of these strains that flowers automatically at some age no matter what light period? So... now I have a bunch of little flowering clones with mutant-like growth. Well, things could be worse...

![]() | I don't think NL#9 it's one of these strains that flowers automatically, but that can always happen with a plant! Lets hope they'll revert eventually, otherwise it might be complicate for indoor growing...good luck! wolf

![]() | i think i read in one of the scrog links, that when the plants get to a distance from the lights [flouros] they spontaniously start flowering .. cant recall where i read it so treat that as hearsay.

![]() | I noticed myself that if the clones came from a plant that started flowering before you took the clones then the clones will continue flowering. Even if they just bearly started to flower so that you couldn't even tell it might make the clones flower. I heard that northern lights is a strain that self-flowers though I'm not sure about #9. Hope this helps.

![]() | Well well. The clones are still kinda flowering, some of them really look like mutants, some have grown leaves that are white with crystals, but I think I'm now beginning to see normal growth in some of them. Kinda sucks having to reveg clones. Anyway I'll just put them in the flowering closet when they're big enough, except for the couple that'll become mothers when they are completely turned back to vegging. I'm also getting very positive results with a young clone and a small pot - when put to 12/12 it stretches madly and then starts pushing out flowers just like in the SOG texts. I could probably put five of these in a big pot and get twice the amount of bud I got from a plant grown from seed. But I'm beginning to think it really might just be the strain. You see, I germinated some new seeds a month or so ago, and now (being in the bathroom under the same fluoros as the clones, 24/7) one of them just started to produce pistils. A five-to-six-week-old plant! Early flowering indeed. Well, next summer we'll see if this happens also outdoors... In these latitudes we have way too long days in the summer and way too cold an autumn for Sativas and such, but my babies might be just perfect for these conditions..
