I have had almost zero luck in cloning once this stage has been reached. What I do is revegetate and take all future clones from those mothers. That has been very very successful for me. I had to start over in my garden. The four seeds had left turned out to be all females. I wil harvest the useable bud, then I pop them straight into 24 hour light(Fluoro works very well). I leave the little bottom buds on, basically because they do not seem to hurt aything, and leaf surface is in my mind leaf surface. After a week or so, I may flush ff the dirt seems a bit dead. But I have not had to do that often. I use very very small amounts of fertilizers as it is. Nice thing is, if you care for your mothers like a houseplant, you will never have a shortage of clones. I know that is not what you asked. But I hope it helps in some way. Kelly
