If i start a plant in soil but take clone from it and plant them in hydro would it work

As soon ans you induce the clone to rooting, just assume he's a new plant with the same particulars of the clone mother.

With proper knowledge one can grow a plant with different rooting mediums, don't you agree?

Just stick with soil if you are not experienced doing, hydro is harder and less forgiving...
