![]() | She's about 8 months old and ready to be harvested ![]() !! I want to try and clone from her but I'm not quite sure where to make the cuts ? I've read that you should take only the top of the plant but then again,,, there are a lot of buds on the bottom of this plant![]() . Could someone please direct me toward some pics... or maybe give me some first hand advise . thanks

![]() | ...sorry.. I think I worded my question wrong . This should probably be in growing indoors, but since I've already posted it here and have gotten a reply... here goes. What I really need to know is where to cut my mature lady in hopes of being able to get her back into veg. stage to take a clone from her. I tried this with my last plant and she died . I think I cut the plant back too severely and did'nt leave enough foliage behind. That's what I'd like to see a picture of,( an older plant that has been cut back). My plant is only a little over 3 feet tall and has about 30 big fat juicy buds on it ![]() ! Should I leave any buds at all on her, or just leave behind leaves ? And yes I have looked around but have not been able to find a picture of a plant that has recently been cut back!

![]() | If your intencion is to reveg a plant to clone (not a good principle!), you should leave some of the lower buds on the plant; i believe they are going to take care of the plant needs till she's ready to grow again ![]() You should also feed her high N nutes during reveg, blood meal would be a good choice but high N guano will do as well... When i tryed reveg, i left about 30% of my yeld in the plants (2) and they both reveged successfull in a month or so, but i'm not really used to do it. Keep in mind that naturaly, the plant would be dead so a question for you; is she really an outstanding female that you can't lose by any price? Cause if she's not, my advice would be to let her go and go looking for a special one you can clone BEFORE flowering ![]() peace, wolf | ||

![]() | Wolf, I just went downstairs and got a good look at her,,, I left about 20% of the buds on her, just around the bottom mostly. I didn't cut the top out , like I've read in some sites. I just trimmed all the bud off around the top and middle and left what leaf was there on. It will be interesting to see if this works or not , believe me,, she's worth it ! I've got her under 400 watts of hps.24 on. Will that mess up what bud I've got left? Considering its been under 12 and 12??? I don't guess it really matters anyway, I have only one light and I have babies comming on . Their priority !

![]() | Well, so far it's working ! She's got about 5 new shoots, their all pretty much around the bottom of the plant. The new growth is between 3 and 5 inches long. I think I'm going to wait for the stems to get a bit bigger before I try to clone. The leaves on them are of a nice size but the stems look too weak to survive the shock of cutting. Every one keep their fingers crossed for me .
