It is a clear indication that your plants are in fact....alive All plants do that...they exude the liquid the same reason we bleed. It is a natural response to a wound. And it helps to protect(plants and us) from infection by immediatly covering the exposed cells. Don't worry, your plants are fine As for the differing colours, some plants will even bleed purple It has no bearing on health, strain, or size. In my best guesstimation, it is the starches in the plants reacting differently with light. But that's just a guess. Maybe you should research it and fill me in too!Hope I helped... C.C.
