Hello everybody!

I read that clones need diffuse light and that's what I have been giving my clones in my aerocloner. Just 55 watts of flos above them 6 inches. I felt that was diffuse enough. Anyways, when can I up the wattage for my clones? Heat and air movement are not a factor. Do I wait until the roots start to develop? It seems they want more light, can't be sure.

Thanks to anyone who helps.

hey quantum

I am using the aerocloner to clone, I have 2 clones that were in there for 1 1/2 weeks, but now are in soil. They seem to want more light, but don't want to hurt them. Temps are in the 70s for the rest in the cloner. The ones in the cloner have been in there for 3 days so far. DOn't want to mess up my clones, gonna flower soon.

Thanks for the help.

If you have new growth you can put them under regular lights. As far as I know the reason behind the lowered lights is to prevent excess transpiration and promote root growth.

Once clones start producing new growth you can be sure they have established again and can handle the light.

BD

Thanks everyone!

The 2 in soil are taking off right now! The second round of clones are doing better than the first round. I hope the 3rd round will see a sea of green!

PS: The clones are doing mighty well with the aerocloner. I have not lost one at all. Root growth for the ones in soil is tremendous! Whooooohoooooo!
