QHC is correct ... you can clone in practically any medium (I have )You can use plain ol soil, perlite, vermiculite, 50/50 perl/verm, or an Areo Cloner (my personal favorite ![]() ![]() ) I have tried all the above and I still stand by the Aero Cloner as being the easist hands down, next in line I would say is the verm & perl mixes (any one of them), lastly soil is the hardest (although WM might disagree )I mean rockwool is great but I woudl have to keep orderign it off the web which I hate doing so I just found another solution .... FYI I use the Aero Cloner exclusively and have consistantly had near 100% results. The near comes from my own blunders and losing a few clones here and there but it wasn't due to the system just my faux pauxs LB

![]() | As a matter of fact, I went to college in Iowa, so I do know a place. There is a place called Green Circle Hydroponics in Kansas City (Overland Park, I believe) It's a drive, but the city kicks ass so it is worth it. Also there is a store in Minneapolis, as well as Chicago. You can order rockwool from the internet, they aren't monitoring the sale of every rockwool cube. Don't send it to your grow location, but otherwise you are OK. Good Luck, sorry about Iowa. Get out soon, and forever!

![]() | Boy we take things for granted. I live in Australia, and we have hydropins shops in nearly every town, well actually, u could safly say, in every town, and in nearly every suburb. And the people runnng them are mostly very open, no need to talk about "tomatoes" or any of thet shiet. Infact, it was announce a couple years ago that hydroponics shops where one of the fastest growing business in aus. I am amazed at the difficulties u guys have over there, i wonder why there arent many hydro shops, u obviously have the population of growers to support the trade. The situation has become such here where there are trade wars going on all the time, and u buy stuff cheap as chips. what's with the problem over there? The cops come down on guys selling hydro gear or sumfin? I really honestly thought u blokes would have had more shops than us. rob

![]() | There seems to be this paranoid myth floating around over here that it is illegal to even have a light. People also seemd to think that EVERY hydro store is monitored and that they give your infotrmation to the po-po. Obviously it isn't true, but over here people just believe stuff that people tell them, so it gets out of hand. I would be willng to bet that you could successfully open a hydro supply store in nearly any large city or suburb thereof, and most of your business wouldn't even be herb growers. I didn't know that about Aus., sounds like I need to pursue my job opportunities over there. ![]()

![]() | I think most hydroponics customers here are growing weed. There really arent that many hobbiests growing basal over her hdroponically, although it does happen. Until recently, people where paranoid about going to a hydro shop over here aswell, but that just doent make sense. I mean, why would a guy, who;s stock and trade rely on his customers returning week after week, call the cops on ya? But yeah, I live in the smallest of small towns in Australia, in a state called Tasmania, which is like the straightest of the straight, and I have 3 hyroponic store in a short distance from my house. And they are set up for pot growers, if u know what I mean, like all the nutrient lables have pictures of buds plastered all over them. Well one is abou 5 minutes drive away, one is about 1 hour's drive, and the other is a little further. In the other states, they are closer together than that even. I didn't relise how well off we are. rob

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Last grow shop that opened here was under survalience since the day they opened ... The fuzz would sit across the street write down tag numbers and pay you a "vist" The shop owner was arrested for numerous charges as well as cultivation and the shop was closed in about 2 months will ALL assets seized (all this was televised on the news) The reson they had to stop doing it was that they were getting warrents and breaking down doors .. .yeah they got some growers but then they also got Gramma and GrandPa with their veggie greenhouse and tehy guy with saltwater aquiriums and a few other totally legite customers and then when that happen teh news got called and the judge slammed the door on warrents fo that reason ... simply being someplace wasn't enuff anymore (bot time too!!!) anyhoo .. I am WAY off topic here ![]() So I am forced to find alternatives or order from the web .... Even if there was a shop here I would think thrice about walking into it! ![]()
