![]() | Well someone was telling me their theory that one ought to be able to get roots to form on a marijuana cutting by simply suspending it in water. I have never tried it, nor has he, and no one else I know has tried it. If you are mad as hell at keeping the cutting, and getting it going, dip the cut end in some cloning solution of your choice, and stick it in something. I preffer 1 inch rock wool cubes, but other people prefer differnet things. Keep the thing humid. If you don't have some sort of incubater. Try cutting a 2 litre plastic drink bottle in two. Pop yer cutting in the bottom half, and slip the top back on, or in, or whatever u have to do to get it back on. Try cutting some slits in the top section, straight up from the cut that seperated top from bottom in the first place, about 3 inches long. 3 around the curcumfrence ought to do it, and then u can compress the top into the bottom. If however, it doesn't matter to you what really happens to it, just leave it in the glass of water, and let me know what happens. I'd love to find out. rob

![]() | thanks for that. I read on these boards that the roots won't take on while the cutting is in water, because the "plant" sees no need to grow them. But I thought Iwould ask anyway. rob
