![]() | Hi Hempgirl Was it summer time when u tried last ? it seems u have most things sorted, so ittl be down to a bit of warmth under the propagator an i would not use the flowering room as the lights maybe a bit strong plus u will have to move them in an out to getmore light hours usin rockwool? if so make sure cubes r not too wet as this will cause them to fall over just moist to the touch is enough, look for a light misting on the propagator lid this will be about the right humidity then. I have found that how you cut them is important. There is a lot of crap floating around about crushing the stems and what-not. I am not a believer, but it may help. I make sure that there is a node (which I strip of the branch), then I make a diagonal cut below that node a little (with a razor) Then dip in rooting powder, making sure the node gets covered, and then I use Olivia's Cloning Gel. They go into a clear tupperware thing, closed, with a litte water (1/8" at the bottom). Then under 24/7 fluoro light and I haven't lost one yet. They get to looking pretty bad sometimes, but they always pull through fine. I also make sure that each clone has about 3 or 4 leaves above ground, so that they have an energy reserve to draw on. They stay at about 85 deg F in the tupperware. Open it once a day to breathe. hmmmmm, air. ![]()

![]() | ...and it's by no means the only way, but maybe it'll work for you. I started cloning a week ago, and this week I've given away ten clones of my girls! I don't like the idea of crushing the stem either. There's too many different ways for bacteria to get in there. So here's what I've been doing. Soak a peat pellet in a light nutrient solution Cut a branch with a sterilized razor. The branch should be at least 1-1/2 inches long and has at least four leaves on it. At this point, I've taken off the bottom and the top and the results are pretty much the same, especially if you already know it's a female. Cut off the lower leaves, leaving the one or two on top alone. People say that the leaves tax the stem, but right now I'm seeing that the top leaves also keep the energy flowing. Just make sure they're not to large (1/2 the size of the pinkie is a good estimate). As soon as you cut the leaves off, dip and hold the branch(es) in liquid rooting solution (I use dip and grow at 1:10)for 30 seconds(Yes, I count). Then place them in the peat pot pellet and spray with Cloud Cover or whatever transpirant you're using. I don't use a dome. I have these clear, thin, plastic cookie containers (Keebler>;-))that I've been sitting the clones in (six pellets to a container). I cover them with a freezer-size ziplock bag (it covers the container completely, while allowing a little air to get in there, prop it up with a kabob stick, and you've got this tent that you place under a flours light 40watt about 8 inches above the tented container. I'm telling you it wasn't even thirty minutes before little beads of water appeared all over the bag. I left it that way for four days. I didn't lift the tent I didn't change the lighting(24/0). I just looked in on it and spoke to it.>;-) Saturday I removed the plastic tents watered it again with the same solution(soaked all the pellets) and placed it 3 inches under the flours. Yesterday, I gave away ten, beautiful white rooted pellets with the same healthy-looking leaves and new shoots to boot! There are many variations on this, but I'm thinking it's the fudge cookies that made the difference.>;-) Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go and visit my treadmill for an hour!

hello all! I have been using a method that is simple, easy, cheap and almost 100% rooting (except for human error). I have done several rounds with the aerocloner and I must say that it is the best way so far. Lilbuddie endorsed! Here is the thread that has links to make your own (on the second page).http://www.hempcultivation.com/420/s...?threadid=3223

will it help if I soak the soil in B1 for a few minutes before I put the clone in the soil? I have a clear heavier plastic dome with a hole in the top for air and a 35 watt flouro directly on top of the dome which is about 7 inches above the clones please let me know if this is good so far... ? also do I water the soil at all or just mist them everyday twice a day?thank you all Hempgirl

![]() | should I use a heating pad under the tray. I hae them in a tin can about 10 in round, and 4 inches deep. with the hard plastic dome on it. with the flouro on top. I noticed the dome had some water drops on the inside, I figure it is humidityand a good thing, but will the tin cookie can make it hard to root? the soil is getting dry, should I water it when it does and can I use B1 to water it with? Hempgirl
