Clone water

Well i took two clones today from a badseed mom and i put them under a 15 watt floro and they will hopfully be good to go but i got 1 question how often should i change the water they're sitting in?

But Im lazy. I dont bother with any of that I just through them down in the water and top it up if evaporation is high but other than that if your cut is good and in the right spot then really changing the water plays no large role in my opinion.

I only keep mine in water for 5-7 days at most before putting them in soil (no they arent rooted yet) but I change the water every 2-3 days so it doesnt get stagnant.
