i will say their Jump Start is pretty good. my buddy used it in his aero setup. without it it took him 6 to 7 days for good roots and now it takes him 4.

I would have to ask myself if getting roots in 4 days vs 6 is worth the cost of that stuff...buying AN stuff just seems to encourage them to fuck their customers even worse. But thats just me...I am probably bitter.

It's like one of those cartoon hair tonics, I half expect my table to sprout roots if I spill some on it. Seriously though, I thought I was doing pretty well with my cloning before but since I got the Juicy Roots I haven't lost a single cutting. So as rooting stimulators go it's definitely the best I've found.

I think it was designed with hydroponics in mind, but AFAIK a rooting stimulator is a rooting stimulator, soil or hydro shouldn't matter, right?

I tired it with my Envy nutes and it reacted and created solids,so i tried it with Humbolt and got the same reaction.Check it out of the unit before adding it.Peace

Why would you combine a rooting gel with nutrients?

The instructions are to dip the cutting in the gel then put it into the rooting medium (I use an aero-cloner). You don't start nutes until you got some roots.

You said "Root Stimulator" not rooting hormone!I wouldn't combine those 2 compounds.

they sure do! h&g's root excelurator is some kick ass stuff. i don't know why someone would rate it as par, this stuff is golden! a bit pricey, but well worth it if you're interested in that type of product. IMO, advanced is a bunch of over-priced/hyped run of the mill nutes.....

Okay, well you directly quoted my post where I VERY clearly state that I'm talking about Juicy Roots.

So what you're claiming is that because I used the phrase "root stimulator" you went out, bought Juicy Roots, completely ignored the label and then tried it with two COMPLETELY different nutrient solutions and got solids?

Yeah, pull the other one, it's got bells on it.

Let's be honest here. You haven't tried Juicy Roots. If you had you'd have noticed the fact that it's a rooting gel and you probably would have noticed somewhere on the label that it's for cloning.

Hell, I doubt you'd get solids if you dumped the whole thing of Juicy Roots into the reservoir but I'm not about to take leave of my senses and try that.
