Yeah you can clone clones. Just allow the clone to grow for a bit before taking clones from it.

Yeah, it's fine. If you want a really bushy plant you can top *and* do LST. I did a little of both on my last grow and got good results - 7-8 main colas.

Hello there!

Hey i have talked to some very good growers areound my area and they say you shouldn't take clones after 7 clone generation. what i mean is you take a clone from you mother you clone that clone and clone this clone that you just took...again, and again. but other than that, have at it. and LST is in other terms Low Stress Training, and in it you tie your plant down slowy to give you more budsites on top and helps keep your plant small. Ie really good for Compact Fluorescent grows and grow that are limited in height.

TJ your wording is very confusing.

7 Clone Generation? I wouldn't even go that far. Maybe 5 at the most. They won't be more bushy its the exact same plant with the exact same DNA. Low Stress Training and Topping are the only two ways to make any plant more bushy.

Topping - Slows the plants growth and I don't recommend it. The plant has to recover from the wound you just inflicted on it. Although if you are outdoors and can't get to your plant atleast once a week then this is the only way to get it to spread out.

LST - search for it on here there are some very nice pictures and grow journals of people doing and showing how it is done. I find it to be the best way of naturally getting more surface area from the plant. More surface area means more leaves which means more buds.

HEY...yeah you. Is that weed?? You shouldn't be smoking that stuff. Here, give it to me...I'll take care of it.

HIGH All, just had to reply.......we've been taking clones from clones from a Strain that is unknown to us so we call it White Bud and we've been doing it since 98'. No loss of potency. It is the same as the first clone we took O.F.F.F. All those years ago.
