Figured it would be a good time to thank you for your cloning guide. I am a new grower and it was time to get some clones as this is my first time growing good genetics. Bubble Gum and Strawberry Cough. Out of my 6 plants I have taken I think 8 clones the Cranky way, My own experiment on 2 and 3 efforts of Air Layering. I had to set up a little cheaper in a couple aspects. I used a small trash can covered with Saran Wrap for a dome. I used a 1 gallon ziplock bag to cover 2 pots. and I used the single sandwich bag to cover 2 individual clones. Thank you for the guide as so far they look stunning. Heres some pics and I'll show more when I find out which are females to keep and get them transplanted.

you say they aint sexed yet?how long they been vegging mate before ya took the clones?i only ask because i normaly wait 3-4 weeks before taking my clones.by then most will have shown sex and saves on the cloning side of things.but you may have hight restrictions or somit???

anyways...like i say...no drooping(good sign)and great to see yas improvising

Cranky I do have restrictions as I am growing in a cab in our walk in closet. I am right at 3 weeks since breaking soil. You can see the cab at the start of my GJ BubbleGum & Strawberry Cough. I didn't like taking them this early but I am still learning whats capable in my box. I wanted to make sure I had a couple of what ever plants showed female. It looks as tho most of my BG is showing male but will give them a few more days to make sure. All my clones are marked for the plant they came off of. The cuttings so far I am pretty happy with as they are very alert. I'll post again when transplanting the keepers.

Morning to you cranky, Well another lesson learned as they are already showng sex. (Most of them) So I decided that I am going to do some smoking and cloning this morning. I wanted to do a little refresher reading and then I am after it. Gonna be a full cab soon it looks like. I am definitely a little more comfortable with the height of my cab now. Knowing that I can Veg a little longer. Still going to be a learning experience tho. Feel good about it this morning. Do you ever use the plugs for cloning and if not is it just because of no need or you don't like it for some reason?

well bro i never bothered with plugs myself.i find soil does the trick so i cant see the point in changing if ya gets me.

ya could do them like this....its just im lazy and saves abit of time when it comes to potting up


just pop them out on day 12-14 and put straight into veg pots

Just wanted to stop in and say thanx for this thread. I ended up with the clones that I wanted and some to give to some med patients if I can find some connects in my area.. Sure is simpler than the mind tells you it is going to be. I think I learned that more than anything, it is just keep it simple and spray a little water on em. Thanx again Cranky for making it easy.

im new to clones, but i have grown before and i only have a 1000w light i was wondering if i can use this light for clones???

i have started with two clones just as a trial n they are a bit droopy, they have been in for nearly 2 dayz.. so i dont think its going to well.
