![]() ![]() | This is a very good guide , I do a few things just a little different. I water my cups with hot water and let them drain about 45 minutes to an hour. I use 16 oz beer cups as planters and blow up a plastic baggie, mist the inside and put it over the top of the cup and tape it on so it stays. so each cup has its own humidity dome. After that I ignore them, there is no need to fool with them after that.

Good guide Cranky. I do the exact process with one exception. I scrape the bottom of the stem (that's ready to go into the soil, etc) around the base, up about 3/4", to remove that outer rough "skin". It helps get the little roots' tips through that membrane faster. I dunna' know, just remember reading it here somewhere, and have been successful with this technique.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Growing the same plant for years, instead of taking a new chance on a new strain being less than stupendous or finding hermies taking up all your garden space. There's a couple I can think of right off. Carly was the first Hindu Kush I grew starting over two years ago. She's still alive and pleasing in her 6th incarnation, and has had many many children. My grandmother's philodendron in the kitchen is also a clone. Welcome to the Garden, J. Pops

Its had a 100% success rate in killing my clones and wasting my time SD

![]() | Count me in! I'm old...older than my kids at least, I dont pull my hair out...it comes out by itself, and a methane donation is no prob at all. I donate all day as it is. Oh yeah...DUMB! Well, I live in Belgium, hows that for dumb. And hopefully, thanks to Cranky and all the rest of you who are so kind to share your knowledge about cloning , next week I'll be able to share my clone photos. Still a little early now (day 6). Just that I'm so old and senile, I forgot where my camera is. Oh well, have a nice day everybody!
