I've taken clones from 3 weeks flowering. No real problems except it took a little longer for them to root, around 2 weeks. When i took clones from the same mother in veg it was only about a week to see roots.

Hmmm ,I'm kinda lookin at towards the end of flower.

There are a couple of bottom branches that wont be yielding anything anyway, can I cut this branch?

Actually I kinda decided that I want to try it anyway... Because I love a challenge and I like learning first hand.

Artanis, what did you root them in?

More tips are welcome... I really like how my girls performed and I want to try to keep them going.

Taking a clone after the stretch can be just that...a stretch.

it can take weeks and sometimes all you will get is nubs..but no roots.

In your situation it may be a good idea to read up on revegging...where you must carefully trim off you buds at harvest and leave enough foliage to keep the plant alive. It usually takes a few weeks of putting the plant back under 18/6 or 24/7 to reveg...after a few weeks..you should get new veg stage regrowth..it is then called a 'mother plant'. You can either take clones or once it has enough foliage that you can then put it back under 12/12..10/14..or w/e your flower lighting is.

2 cents

Hello Ed

If you are almost done with flowering you would be better off to revegg the plant as oppossed to cloneing.........

also any stalk or stem that has started to turn "woody" or is "woody" ...... as oppossed to a soft green stem is not a good canidate for cloneing.....

Revegg'ing is also a slow procces but it will save the strain if you have no more seeds or plants to clone....

just my plink, plink

I cut a small clone from each already. I have them in a bubble type cloner. It's not too major if they die, I sure wouldnt mind growing the strain again. Thanks for the info.
