Its pretty much all the same consistency. I was suprised too. I thought that one last shake pile was going to be a waste. But it squeezed together just like the most pure ones. The only way to tell, it seems, is they most pure ones appear to oil up on the surface and get dark brown. Plus, they melt with almost no boiling or bubbleing. Pretty cool to watch. I will definatly save those ones for special occasion.

hmmm...mine came out the same range of colors as yours, and squeezed
together pretty well, but my "worst" ones were hard as a rock
the next day. I have to chip pieces off to smoke 'em.

Mine probably have a much higher proportion of plant matter in them
than yours. Oh well, if they get us high, what do we care?
We're still smoking less of the uninteresting part of the plant than
with bud, right?

thanks for the informative thread! would I be able to use 151 instead of everclear? I can't get a hold of any everclear around here...

Ive not used it myself but Im sure the effect would be the same. In fact, everclear gets some negative opinions because it also dissolves leaf waxes and other undesireables. But Im quite happy with my results. If I need to purify things in the future, there are lots of ways to do it.

But it was 8 grams of kif and at least 2 grams of oil. These are fantastic results and are a direct result of the strain used. Rosetta Stone is possibly the most crystally plant around that no one ever talks about.

It compares exactly!

I just did up some buds I had. With some gentle shaking and rolling (instead of vigorous), I was able to scrape together a bunch of pure white trichomes in 10 minutes. Not a green spec anywhere to be seen. Cant get much more pure than that.
