Ah, the joys of GEH-TO hash. Dont buy those expensive bubbler bags before you read this......

Materials:

- a medium sized tupperware container
- the ole ladys used panty hose
- a rubber band
- some kind bud you dont need in your smoking stash

Take the hose and trim the toe piece off. Slice the nylon the length of the leg, about 10" for this piece of tupperware. Place the "V" formed by the end of your cut around the lip of the tupperware. Look hard, you can make out the "V" through the side of the plasic

...and I mean LAY it! No stretching at all, if possible. The more you stretch it, the bigger the mesh, the more non libation material falls through.

Well, a little stretching to make it taut....youll see. Firm, but not like a bongo hide Tell ya what, If you see green specs in you powder or withered pistils (red hairs) coming through the screen instead of being lodged in it, your mesh is too big

stockings would seem to be a fine enough mesh.. but i would think they would be too stretchy. maybe i should wait until the end of your post...

Getting the rubber band on without stretching the nylon. One of the reasons I leave so much slack on the outside is so I can correct for any stretching putting the rubber band on causes. Take a scissors and trim off the remaining nylon till about 1/2" is left all around.

Any surface you can scrape with a blade will do. Now, start shakin. Took me an hour to collect the samples below, earliest starting at the top L and going clockwise. Its obvious how, as the bud is pulverized down, the green begins to come through. The nylon is pretty worn by this point as well, so replacing the screen every 20 minutes or so could purify things.

Ill remove the stems (they have their own (everclear) oil pile) and make butter with the remains

sorry to bust in on your thread. didn't realize it wasn't really done when i happened upon it.

looks good, well done.. but i thought the stocking might wear out. did you pulverize the bud before shaking it.. or did that happen while shaking? would inserting some sort of ball or something help to work the bud throught the stocking? it might stretch the stocking though, huh? tell me which pile smokes the best. thanks for this thread.

I think I may have some excess bud. I am going to make an ounce of butter with top notch manicures, but I may want to try your method too for some of that yummy goodness.

How large are those paper squares?

How much did you start with?..Did you weigh it?

No biggie man, its hard to check the time of every single thread on the boards. Ive interrupted many a thread in my time

The earlier piles will be the most pure and smoke the best. The three white piles at the top will compress down to pure hash with trichomes so oily (or something) it literally leeches through the paper I use to squeeze it. The dark places on the previously squeezed hash pictured is the "wet" parts.

squeezing it will break the trichromes and actually degrade the THC faster over time. so better to not make large amounts for storage.

you could however just keep those piles in small jars or boxes or something for storage OR for smoking. smoking kiff is just as good as smoking hash. a little less flavor, but usually more potent. you can lace a J with some for an awsome effect.
