Cool Recipes!

Hey everyone, Submit good cannabis recipes. Lets specify to use dry or fresh herb. Also a brief preparation description
Oatmeal Cookies

2 extra large eggs
3/4 cup marjuana butter
2 cups turbinado sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 tablespoon ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon ground cloves
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
2 cups whole-wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon sea salt
2 tablespoons water
1 1/2 cups rasins
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup pecan pieces

1.) Cream together the eggs, butter, sugar, and vanilla
2.) Sift together the spices, flour, soda, and salt, and add to the cremed mixture
3.) Add the water, rasins, oats, and pecans, and mix thoroughly
4.) Chill the dough
5.) place spoon-sized chungs of dough on buttered cookie sheet. If you wish, top with coarse sugar crystals.
6.) Bake in a preheated 350 Degree oven for 12-20 minutes

Jalapeno Gold Muffins

Jalapeno Muffins

1/2 cup marijuana butter
1/3 cup turbinado (unrefined sugar)
2 large fresh eggs
8 ounces creamed corn
1 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 tabelspoon aluminum-free baking powder
1/2 cup all purpose, unbleached flour
1 cup grated sharp Cheaddar cheese
1/4 cup grated lemon peel
1/2 cup seeded, finely chopped Jalapeno peppers
1 1/2 cups yellow corn meal

1.) In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, eggs, cremed corn, and sour cream
2.) Sift the salt, baking powder, and flour toghter and combine with the creamed mixture. Stir in the grated cheese, grated lemon, peppers, and corn meal. If necessary, adjust the taste with just a bit more sugar at a time
3.) Grease muffin tins with marijuana butter or any other shortening, and fill the cups two thirds full. Bake in a preheated 450 degree oven for 18 to 20 minutes

Lime Pie

Lime Pie

1/4 cup water
1 package unflavored gelatin
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 eggs, separated
1/2 cup lime jusice, preferably Mexican limes, if available
2 teaspoons grated lime peel, plus 1 teaspoon for the topping
1 cup whipping cream
1 baked Rich marijuana pastry crust
Sweetened whipping cream
Lime slices
1/2 cup unsalted, shelled pistachio nuts

1.) Combine the water and the gelatin. Allow to soften 5 minutes. Mix in half the sugar with the salt, egg yolds, and lime juice.
2.) sitr constantly over medium heat until the mixture just begins to boil.
3.)Remove the pan from the heat, and stir in 2 teaspoons of the grated lime peel. (Add three drops of green food coloring at this point for a more pronounced color effect, if desired)
4.) Pour the mixture into a bowl and chil until slightly jelled
5.)Gradually add the remaining sugar to the cream, and whip until stiff peaks form. Fold into the chilled, some what jelled mixture
6.) Fill the pastry crust and chill the pie until the filling has firmly set.
7.) Spread more sweetened whipped cream over the pie, place slices of f resh lime around the edge, and sprinkle the center with the pistachios and remaining lime peel.

Pastry Crust for pies

Pastry Crust for pie

1/4 cup marijuana butter, softened
1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1 large egg yolks
pinch of salt
1/4 turbinado (unrefined) sugar

1.) Blend the butter with the flour until you have a grainy mixture. Blend the egg, yolds, salt, and sugar together, and beat ino the flour/butter mixture. Cover and refrigerate for two hours.
2.) Work this dough into your pie pan with lightly buttered figners. Poke holes in the bottom and sides with a fork. Bake in a 400 degree oven for five to seven minutes if you are going to fill and bake some more, which you would do if you were using this crust in a tart recipe. If you are going to fill a completly baked crust, as in the case of Lime pie, bake for 20 minutes

Note: This recipe makes one 10-inch crust, with about 1 teaspoon of potency per slice. To cut the potency, use half marijuana butter and half regular butter.

Weed Caramel

2 cups turbinado (unrefined) sugar
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
2 cups heavy cream
1 3/4 cups light corn syrup
1/2 cup potent marijuana butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon dark rum
2 cups peacan piece

1.) In a large saucepan over medium- high heat, bring a mixture of the sugar, salt, 1 cup of the cream, corn syrup, and butter to a boil. Boil slowly for 10 minutes, sitrring constantly. Do not scrape the bottom of the pan. (if you have buds left over which have been cooked but which have potency left, drop them in the mixture for the first 10 minutes, then remove them before proceeding)

2.) Dribble in the remaning cream, continuing to stir. Add the cream slowly enough not to distrub the boiling.

3.) Continue to cook until a little of the mixture, when plopped into cold water and rolled between your thumb and index finger, forms a firm but not hard ball.

4.) when the firm-ball stage is reached, remove the pan from the heat and stir in the vanilla, rum, and pecans. Pour out onto a buttered cookie sheet with sides, and allow to cool.

5.) When the mix has cooled, cut into bite-sized pieces and wrap.

Blueberry Blastoffs

Blueberry blastoffs

2/3 cup marijuana butter
1 cup turbinado (unrefined) sugar
3 large, fresh eggs
2 teaspoons double acting aluminum free bakin powder
1 teaspoon sea salt
3 cups twice sifted all purpose unbleached flour
1 cup whole milk
16 ounces frozen blueberries, thawed and drained

1.) Cream the butter and sugar
2.) Beat the eggs, and mix them into the butter/sugar mixture
3.) Sift together the baking powder, salt, and flour. Add bit by bit to the mix, alternatiing with the milk. Don't overmix
4.)After the batter is mixed, gently fold in the blueberries
5.) Butter the muffin tins, and fill each cup two-thirds full. Bake in a preheated 357 degreee oven for 30 minutes

Marijuana Butter

Marijuana Butter

Step 1
In the top of a double boiler, melt whatever amount of butter you've decided to use. The water below need only be at a slow simmer. Clarified butter will preserve fine marijuana taste better then unlcarified butter

Step 2
When the butter has melted, bruise and seperate the marijuana but don't crumble it, and drop it in the butter

Step 3
If the marijuana isn't covered by the butter, you can add more a.) add more butter, b) turn the marijuana frequently or c.) add some vodka, rum, brandy, or your choice of alcohol(stay away from grain for the process)

Step 4
Heat the marijuana butter for two hours, stirring frequently. If using alcohol, allow it to ecaporate, otherwise , keep the pot covered. Check to be sure the water below isn't boiling away.

Step 5
After two hours, pour the melted butter into a crock, cover the crock, and allow it to cool throughly. Wheather you want to filter out the marijuana pieces or not is optional. We sometimes like to strain the butter as we pour it off, trapping seeks and shake. Then, carefully removing as many seeds as possible from the buds, we put the buds back into the butter and allow the butter to solidify around them. When the butter is finally used, the buds are recovered intact from the center of the butter. During their time in cold storage, they hace imparted a wonderful flavor, aroma, and intensity to the butter immediately around them. A piece of bud 'n'butter (God- can't you see the signs). the size of a small fingernail, dropped into a hot rum drinkor a cup of expresso will send wonderful little shivers through your toes and ears.
