Before I boiled it off (and before I took the picture of the double boiler) a did take out a few shots worth. I have heard that called green dragon. Now I just have to muster up the guts to try it!

I brought the water to a boil and let the Everclear evaporate off for about an hour. There was a smell, but it wasn't too strong. As the Everclear boiled off, the liquid became thicker. Eventually, there was nothing but a thick sticky substance left behind. This is the hash oil in pure form.

After all that, about 1/4 of a large shot glass was all I got. But before you are too dissapointed, I added one drop of this stuff my bowl and got completely blown. No doubt it is worth it!

Wow, that is good stuff. I will look forward to this with every harvest. Smoked it in a bowl with weed, in a bowl by it self, and dipped one end (about 1/3) of a joint in it and smoked. Incredible!

Now, all that is left is this bowl. Any suggestions on cleaning this without wasting the product? One option is for me to keep this bowl as is for the next batch. What do you think?

This is my 100th post! Guess that makes me a gardner now Actually, it is perfect timing. I figured I didn't rate to be a gardner until I actually smoked something I grew. It may not be bud, but I definately smoked something I grew and got BLOWN!

Nice and clear to understand you could allways add a small amount of the everclear to clean the bowl then put that into a shot glass ?

About the bowl...just warm it up, throw some shake in there and let it soak in good, then roll a fattie! That's what I do!

Thanks! That's a great idea. My wife is about to kill me over that bowl, but I won't let her wash it and waste that good stuff.

It sure can stretch your weed when you are low.

That's a good way to sop up the last of the oil, alright, but you can get a lot more out of the bowl first.

Toss the whole thing into the freezer. Then, use a knife or spoon to "chip" or scrape the oil off. While it's cold, it doesn't flow around the end of your tool- it just cracks off the glass and collects as a powder/flake pile. Until it warms up, of course...

How was the high different? Was it a more potent high? I've smoked powder type hash, never liquid, cant wait to try. Nice work!

Never thought of freezing it! I'm gonna try that next time!

I've always thought oil to be more of a "lung-buster" if smoked in large oil/weed ratios...better yet straight!! Hash always seemed smoother and not so "corrosive"! The high is great, with lots of head rushes from coughing too! Ya know...those "Who am I...where am I?" head rushes! LOL
