This is the top of my plant... anyone have a diagram or picture of what the best way to cut it would be?

Thanks

4th node cut...
permalink

Thanks for the recomendation. The fourth node from the bottom?

Why would this be better then letting the plant grow 2 or 3 feet and then topping it... or not topping it at all.

Once a plant enters its flowering stage does it stop growing straight up and flower at the top?? I cut my first plant between nodes 5 and 6 and all I got was two smaller buds at the top.

Thanks

dankmann

Here's another pic of the plant from a distance

basically topping it lower will let the plant get bushier than taller..most people do this so they don't really get a tall plant but they get the same yield and much more when its bushy..after a little while of flowering it will stop vertical growth but not bud growth...but were u cut it is just fine

I've read you can also use water to get the clone to root?

I pulled back the leafes that had already begun to grow, then used nail clippers to cut the main branch...
