i bent my wookie

hey, i recently topped my ladies, although i think i waited too long. now they are about a third of the way to my hps...but the two colas are only about 1 or 2 inches long with one or two branches. if i flower soon will the colas grow enough to make this worthwhile? or should i let the two colas develop more and just train them (with string or something) before flowering?
