Has anyone ever tried to train a plant to grow like bonsai trees do? Never figured out how to do it but am very interested in trying. Im very good at pruning **** *trees shake when i have hedge clippers and they see me comin )If anyone has pics or directions on how to do this, i would be more than happy to try to duplicate this and it would be very much appreciated... *i've wanted to post this since my 160 post...but i figured i would save it for my bicentennial *peacefully smokin, Sell_R

![]() | i have other regular plants in the forest and i also expirimented with the bonsai technique. i use this because it is a stealth way to grow and i can keep it by my house so i don't have to take the hike to go visit the other ones. once your sprout your plant and it is big enough to top just top it. once you start to get three pointed leaves or whenever you just snip the side ones and just leave the one blade in the middle. everytime you get a new set of leaves just snip the outside blades and just leave the middle. instead of having a marijuana leaf with a bunch of fingers you just have the one middle finger. and as it grows you just keep topping it so the plant won't get tall. i top around every three weeks. i'm not really great at this but it's growing pretty nicely. since it dosen't look like a marijuana plant you can put it in a spot that you would normally not put a plant. i wouldn't recomend putting it anywhere i.e. you go on vacation and you can't trim it as often the new leaves will grow and if a person saw it they'll know what it was. the only thing is if it's out in plain view of people you want to keep it trimmed so it won't be noticed. well that's the best explanation i can give i'm not too good in explaining things ![]()

![]() | go to the hightimes web site i think they have a few months worth of back issues published on the web im not sure though. but anyway if they do, go back to i think the april or may issue it has a picture of a mermaid holding a sea shell full of pot on the cover. it has a very good article on growing bonsai after reading that article i made my very own bonsai grow room in the bottom cabinet of my enertainment center using two twin bulb 36 inch flouresent light fixtures and one soft white light bulb to every one warm white bulb and i grew about 5 plants over the period of about two months and harvested a little over an ounce of some good smoke and only spent $75 on the grow room ,,,,,,,,,but how u prune em is to cut the growing top out of the first set of true leaves make sure not to harm the leaves this will dramatically stunt the plants growth then it should grow into two tops after the second set of leaves on the two stems top it again then u should have four tops grow in, i usually top one more time give them about three weeks to heal and force flower them but basically just trow to make the plant grow out instead of up..(also mounting lights on the top of the walls in a small grow room like mine gives the plant more growing room and if plants are in a line and not side by side it gives them more light)

![]() | A buddie of mine made a bonsai plant once. All he did was take a bunch of sturdy wires, wrapped the wire around the stem and as it grows you can manipulate the shape by wrapping the wire around each branch and every day slowly shape it. He had a plant that kinda looked like a vertical vine of buds. He also experimented with it by replanting a branch in the soil w/ root hormone and it basically WAS a vine of buds! It looked sweet! He saved lots of space cause he had a big room and it just grew up the walls out of long trays that he made. The room was lit by 3 1000w HPS and 2 1000w MH. He is a rich-boy with lots o' loot. Anyway just some ideas.
