Hey I was wondering how to grow just one main cola instead of the having the branches come off the main stem. i am trying to go for a mini SOG.

 | Take a clone and as soon as it roots turn it 12/12 and cut off the part you don't want as it shows to end up with a budcickle.. :Peace pi

It's called "lollypopping" or "chicken legging" it's not quite a sog itself but certainly has it's place in sog style grows...the real point of it is to take full advantage of your space, you can easily grow a lollypopped plant in less than 1 sq ft. and depending on your pot size you could cram alot into a reatively small space. Here's an example of one I have growing now, it will most likely end up with the 1 nug almost 20" long  It's pretty easy to do...you hust cut the branches off during the first week or so of flowering, not the leaves, just the branches...after that you'll just need to do some minor trimming to keep everything in check. I started to lollypop all my clones, and then changed my mind...so this isn't "truly" lollypopped as I do really have more than one bud there.

| if you can find any of tick's old work, he was the SOG master, but to bad i cant remember a word he said about how to get single sticks. hope someone will turn up with some saved info he gave, as it would be priceless now. he was so crazy, sog'd c99/apollo 11...... he could tame any bitch

| Duner explained it pretty well.  I did a little LST to mine so it became more of a banana than a lollipop.

| very nice alteredgo that plant is exactly what im tryin to do but keeping it straight up of course because I would like to use the Sog method and see how many plants i can cram into one area. The strain I have right now produces some huge cola's. Im using a haze strain not sure of specific genetics.
