I was just wondering: I supercrop my outdoor grows to control some ht. I am thinking now I should be a bit more strategic about it and SC to create an even canopy.

She cuts each hanger into 2 pegs and basically pegs the growing tips down. She starts pegging as soon as she plants them in the soil and continues till they start budding. When they start budding, she lets em run. She winds up with a Big Horizontal Christmas tree shaped SCROG. She loves it, specially since she grows Pure old 70's mom Afghani..

I do the same thing except I use a forked branch from the local dead foliage. I call it a COG (Cube of Green). Ends up being 4'x12'x1'deep x2, and some popcorn buds down low for a late harvest.
