Only you'll have solid figures for your grow. The strain, the way you take care of them, nutes.... all of these things will effect your yield. Let us know what you get each plant. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | If you are going to do "true" SOG, meaning very little to none veg time, then use at least 4 plants/sq ft. If you are going to give some more veg and want taller plants (any over 1.5ft), then go reducing it. The only way to know for sure optimum number of plants for your setup and style of growing is trial/error. But if you want to grow SOG style, start trying high plant's density, as it often gets the max total yield. There is a point where plants are too crowded and total yield decreases, but that point on a true SOG often is about 9 plants/sq ft (of course, it depends of plants phenotype). But those concentrations work well always you keep plants short, so they dont shade themselves. Im glad when a get 4g single colas using the highest densities that allows the pots i use (4", 10cm sq). Some plants get more, some less. But using half plants the average is near double, so sometimes working with so high plant numbers dont worth in the sense that is more work, possible mayor problems if busted, for an small yield improvement. Thats why most people use 4 plants/sq ft max. If i use so high numbers is because i grow with CFLs, so i cant grow taller plants than i do, and for me the difference in yield is noticiable. But if you use a lighting wich allows to grow taller plants, then give some veg, use all the height your lighting allows to use efficiently and use less plants. knna
