im trying this on two OG kush clones that im mothering, the plants seem to love it. all i have done is drilled holes along the entire bucket perimeter and used a combination of pipe cleaner and string to tie the ladies along the bucket. it looks as if they are naturally making new tops also, im thinking of experimenting ever further with one of them and maybe trying some supercropping or something else. they seem to like being played with a lot. opinions on the efficacy of this technique or general good mother advice?

This is a good use of space. I would recommend not combining this with super cropping. cropping in general kind of only makes sense with a vertical grow, it stops / slows vertical growth while lateral growth catches up. So if you're growing horizontally - which is basically what you're doing with a circle LST - and you crop the top of the main stem, you've stopped the horizontal growth and will now only see your shoots grow vertical. It creates the opposite effect of what you're trying to achieve. ![]()

![]() ![]() | haha your absolutely right. i think i will leave these to just the circular training, im pretty sure im going to do this with all the clones from the mothers as well, in combination with the netting that im already going to tie them to for maximum bud exposure
