![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks nigel For the info, it is interesting. And thanks scrub for letting us use your thread. I think I'll try using a twisty tie like on a loaf of bread and try to train the tops of the plants the way they do with Bonsai plants, but I might need a heavier wire. What do y'all thank?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | plastic coated garden wire. Easy to cut, reusable and is very strong. i have tried rubber bands Ccole 420, but the only way i had success was with a piece of wire to anchor them. fiddly to tie, but found a half hitch with the band on the stem, then use a piece of wire to attach the other end. no tying and movable. thanks for your input. nigel

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have a roll of plastic garden twist ties that I use for various purposes. A loose loop at the plant training point may work well. I would not use paper twist ties to attach an LST training point to a plant. The paper may disintegrate and leave a sharp, thin wire. I like the heavy wire and tape that Ccole420 talks about. I also like the increasing fishing weight idea. Although I have not tried either. In my cabinet environment, I can use at least three of the four walls as attachment points. I just use sticks to push these puppies around and to keep them in place. No twisting, no tying, no taping, no weighting. Just a lot of sticks.

Thanks for your generous comments, igrowbasil. I hope the ideas help. Here are pictures of a different grow. My current grow cabinet has Peak19 under vegetative light. Eight plants. Gender unknown. Will cull all males when identified. Clones have been taken. Peak19 grows approximately 39 inches. Plants in the pictues are progressively older. Expect to switch to flower lighting in about two more weeks.

I am new to this and need the stuff for sleep. I used it for fun in the late 1960s but never grew it myself. In the picture the pots seem to be far less than three gallon. How small can I go in flower pot size considering that I have three seedlings of Norther-Lights in a small two foot by three foot closet? Also, the closet has sliding doors which let light in. would that small amount of light getting to the plants during the no lights flowing cycle (12 hours of darkness), be enouth light to cause the plants to revert back to vegetative stage or become hermaphrodites? Thanks Insomniac
