I have a 4' x 4' x 8' room. The flowering chamber is 5.5' high leaving 3.4' for the veg chamber on the top... For a better visual check out my other thread. http://www.hempcultivation.com/420/s...threadid=14853

Ok, here's my plan... I am growing northern lights, which flower between 45 - 55 days. I was trying to have a harvest every 28 days or so by gowing 2 plants at a time in my 4 plant system... So I would:
1. Get/Take/Buy a clone for a mother plant
2. Take many clones
3. Veg the clones till they're 6" (1 week)
4. Transplant 2 best looking clones into flowering chamber
5. Keep the best of the rest of the clones for a mother and keep it in veg for 3 weeks.
6. Take many clones from mother
7. Veg clones for a week or so
8. Transplant to 2 best looking clones the the other side of the system.
Repeat steps 5 - 9

Now if my calculations are right that would be a harvest every 28 days. The only thing that is bugging me is if flowering the clones as soon as they reach 6" is ok? Each plant only has to cover 1 sq foot of screen. What do you guys think about this strategy? Will it work? I am using a 430 watt HPS color corrected light. What can I expect for a yield for each 2 plant harvest? I was hoping 6 - 10 ounces... Is this possible? Thanks,

I dont know about 3-5 ozs per plant under that light. Possible, yes, but about two per would be more realistic. I once got 3.5 ounces from a plant under my 400 HPS. It was a freak bagseed indica, flowering for 11 weeks with 12 6" colas. I had to tie branches and train it hard to get it that way.

Well i've seen someone get 6 oz of bud from 1 plant, and it would have been close to 10 if the plant did'nt get rootbound, and get fungus to where he had to harvest early. I guess time will tell. I'll keep everyone post... I'm thinking after this Northern Lights veg's for about 1 more week it will be ready to take clones from. Then I will be keeping a grow journal... so look out!
