At what age or at what hieght should i tie my main stem in a 90 degree angle so what to get new branches and mak e it widen and not tall? thanks

After trial and error, I realized the earlier, the better. Not as a young seedling, but by the time it's 8 inches you should be slowly training it to bend to your desired angle. Just be careful that you don't restrict your plant with your ties. Lots of helpful info in this area in the grow guide & in smokinrav's grow journal's. He posts excellent pic's with directions.
