![]() | Frist I must say I love this scrog Ideal, what a concept! Ok so Im not up to date whats new, Im new at this cyber thing. Be kind to a old man. Iv been growing my own roll for over 15 yrs. , In a small green house , done well each year. The problem I have is by end of oct. Iv got a jungle. Oh Iv tried this and that , mainly pruneing and tieing them down. But with the breed I grow this helps only a little. What I wish to do is two things. Frist set up a muiltple harvest per year, and a system to flaten the plants down from a xmas tree shape, that grows along the ceiling (8 1/2 foot), to a table if you will . I think with scrog this might be possible, the question is either let only the tops (buds) above the screen or some of the vine grow above the screen?.... Here is some Ideals that might help those with set ups allready. One its easy to make flouresnt tube lights without refectors basicly tape on the end plugs and extend your wire to the ballest, just rember to cover the tube and ends in a clear plastic tube. these can be set any where on the screen that is in the shadows. Next is 1/2 pcv pipes with holes drilled in them running the length of the screen, air or better CO2 pumped into these would help with packing and mold. Now any Ideals on how to set up a 8`x8`x8`green house into a scrog house.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I think I understand what you're looking for. Are you planning to suplement the light or just use the big Halide in the sky? Personally I would set up two tables running the length of the greenhouse. Make them as wide as will allow comfortable movement between them on each side. I would make them high enough that the screen is just about elbow level when standing. ![]() Then build modular cube frames from 1x2s or some such. You want to have the screen 10-12" above the soil. By making the top part of the frame seperate and screwing it to the four post with the screen already attatced you can same a lot of effort later when the possibility of damage to the plants is highest. By have smaller modular screens the training and seperation of the plants becomes easier. If one of them gets sick or has any reason to be removed, you don't need to damage the others to do it. Thanx for the suggestions. I've often wondered aboult setting unmounted bulbs along the soil. ![]() Live, Learn, Grow. BD ![]()
