![]() | Hi I wonder if instead of using plyable poultry wire i might use metal cage fencing of a more solid type to act as the screen, this would i think hold the canopy better than the wire which would probably give under the weight of the buds. I`ve seen this stuff around and it`s sometimes coated with plastic, which also might be better for the plants so they are not touching an abrasive surface, or having thin wire cutting into them...hmmm just wondering if anybody knew of any problems doing it this way. You are correct that a heavier guage wire will support the buds better, though the problen is usually the stems bending the canopy up, not the weight pushing it down. The only difference I have noted among the different supports is the training. Larger spaces mean more work to keep the budsites aligned properly. Pipe cleaners work wonders in many situations. Let us know how it works out. Live, Learn, Grow. BD ![]()
