phishkid is beginning to sprout.

Ive got a small growspace so scrog seems like the right choice for me. Would it be a good idea to prune my future plant in order to train HER to be bushier or maybe produce more buds if possible. Does anyone have any insight as to whether how or if this can be done?

yes

yes, you can prun your plant back, it slows down the growth a bit, but it will keep it short and it will make it more bushier, when you prun back new growth it encourages new growth shoots to shoot out farther down the stem, creating more places for buds to be produced!
