need more info first, are you having problems with deer or some other pest? i have had deer problems in the past they cleaned my whole crop 1 year (19)plants its a good thing i had more in other spots, here is how i do it, when i first plant my plants approx 6in in the spring i take 2 ft of chicken wire fold it over the plant, cut 4 sticks about 2 ft high put them around the plant to hold the wire down as the plant grows move the wire up the sticks, when the plant gets to high for the sticks take the wire and lay it on the ground about 8in from the plant the deer get spooked when they step on it , you cant use to much wire because it can be seen from the air (planes),what i do now is put some human hair around the plant but the smell only last a few days or you can take some old rags socks are the best and piss on them every time you visit and hang from a bush close to the plantif you get a lot of rain you will have to do this everytime, but the best thing to do is go get some (scoot) that what they call it here in canada its for deer, mice, etc etc, it smells terrible but it works the deer might bite part of your plant but once they get a taste of it they wont touch it again, i have more tricks but wont go into it now. oh by the way the deer that ate my crop is resting comfortley in my freezer. | ||

I was laughing so hard I was totally confused on what you were talking about ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I was like ... Huh? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() No problem dude. You can fasten the wire to the top of the frame with a bunch of things .... woodscrews, small penny nails, wood staples ..... I think screws would be the easist ![]() lay the frame on the floor, lay the wire over the frame, cut out the wire to match the frame. take your screws and fasten it down and try not to crack your frame when you do it ... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You need it fastened "securely" however you do it doesn't matter but just think if that screen fell like 3 weeks from harvest cuz the tape gave out ... You'd screw all your plants AND all the work you put into it. Just use something sturdy to hold it. Find some scrap wood somewhere and make a frame ir something LB
