  | does this retard the growing any? if so how much? meaning does this delay the plant? i get multiple tops with lst and no delay or harm to plant, so im wondering why i should become a pincher  have you tried lst? if so why do you choose supercropping over lst? | ||

SOG usually no training is done because the plants (clones) would be from the same mother plant so the plants are close to being identical in growth; also this method usually more plants are being grown to use up the space of the lighting footprint. SCROG can include topping and Low Stress Training (Supercropping) stem bending the plant back into the screen. It's a way to maximize your lighting by trying to keep an even canopy; so you can try different methods of training or don't train at all and yes all types of training usually involve more effort by the plant and the grower.

| Here you go freshly done supercropping and then took the shot right after I did it; also you can see the bruising from the last time I did it between the nodes below the fresh supercropping.

This sounds pretty useful. I think I'll try it when I start up my grow. You could try wrapping a bit of duct-tape over the teeth of a pair of needle nose pliers and pinch them too. Easy reach, no more nails . | ||
